So today was pretty much a write off.
Burgers are their specialty, they have a two page menu dedicated to burgers alone. They cook them on a gigantic grill outside in the middle of the restaurant. It is open air-style, so people can enjoy dinner with their pets under the stars. Large picnic tables on the beach accommodate larger groups.
The food was delicious and the staff were great. All British, and thus restoring our faith in them. We had some drinks and dessert as we listened to live music.
We slept pretty much most of the day. It was overcast, so we
didn’t feel as though we were missing out, and the timing for a day of sleep couldn't be better. We made it down to the gym for the second time on this vacation at around 2 or 3 and worked out a little. Shay did some weights and I ran and used the
elyptical.
Swam in the pool a bit.
Showered for dinner. Walked down the street looking for the
only restaurant we saw on Yelp. It was called Pirate Beach. It is on the ocean
side, so it isn’t as easy to find from the street, but very easy to spot from
the beach as the boardwalk crosses in front. It is Pirate themed, go figure,
with the sunken ship motif, and skeletons. Kellie and Cory you would love it here! The place is owned by a really nice
looking British version of Shay. Hot.

We leisurely walked home along the boardwalk with full intentions of
walking around town. No dice. We went back to the room and crashed for the night. We're so old.
Surprisingly the evening noise wasn’t too bad. We heard some
shouting in the hall once, probably around 4 or 5, but not again after that.
